The UK has a whole host of national mental health support services, a few of which are listed below:

Kooth is an NHS website, accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). There’s lots of resources available, and you can chat to counsellors in confidence there too.

YoungMinds is a UK charity focused on the mental health of children and young people. Their site is full of information as well as more signposting.

PAPYRUS is a UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people. Their Hopeline is open daily between 9am and 12am. Call 0800 068 4141.

Mermaids supports transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children, young people, and their families. Their helpline is open M-F 9am-9pm. Call them on 0808 801 0400.
